Jahan Wilcox is a nationally recognized communications and political strategist with over 15 years of experience assisting high-profile individuals and institutions with their most pressing campaigns and challenges.
Mr. Wilcox has a wide array of experience spanning many different facets of government and campaigns, including serving as a Communications Director in the U.S. Senate and leading the public affairs department at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Mr. Wilcox has been described by Bloomberg News “as a veteran political operative,” and described by one leading Washington political reporter as a “savvy operator with a large Rolodex of top political reporters willing to take his calls.”
He has successfully booked interviews in the nation’s leading news outlets, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Fox News, CBS News, Bloomberg, NPR, and countless regional newspapers.
In 2016, Mr. Wilcox managed the rapid response operation for Senator Marco Rubio’s presidential campaign.
In 2014, Mr. Wilcox deployed to Iowa, where he developed and implemented a communications plan that helped Joni Ernst become the first Iowa woman ever elected to Congress. He was also a senior member of her successful re-election effort six years later.
In 2012, Mr. Wilcox was the national press secretary at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, after serving as the spokesman at the Republican National Committee.
Mr. Wilcox began his political career as a member of former Senator Norm Coleman’s historic 2002 campaign.
Mr. Wilcox has worked for numerous public officials including Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS), Senator Mike Braun (R-IN), Senator Todd Young (R-IN), Governor Doug Burgum (R-ND), RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman, and EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler.
Mr. Wilcox is a graduate of St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin. He is a first-generation American citizen who was born in Calcutta, India, grew up in Minnesota, and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
